はじめまして！

「ファッション」について一生懸命に考え、語り合える素敵な人と

それを表現し、発信していくブログを一緒にスタートできることに今とてもわくわくしています。

1回目ということで、私自身のことを少しだけお話しようかと思います。

私は5歳から新体操をはじめ、それ以来、引退するまで

新体操、学校、食べる、寝る、というシンプルすぎるライフサイクルを送ってきました。

だから学校の勉強以外のことは、ほとんど新体操を通して吸収してきたように思います。

新体操の大会では演技や曲、競技者に合わせたレオタードを作り、それを身につけて踊ります。

そのコスチュームは作品全体の一部です。

レオタードなんてあまり点数に影響しないし、作品を彩る部分的なものにすぎないとも言えるけど、

それがなくては全体として成り立たない。

私は当たり前のように、作品の完成度を左右するなくてはならない重要なものだと感じるようになりました。

こうして、いつのまにか新体操から離れた所でも、服は私全体の一部になっていたのです。

あたりまえですが、私たちの生活はいろいろなもので構成されていて、

人によってそれぞれの位置づけやお金や時間の費やす割合も違います。

ファッションが一番であるべきとも思わないし、そればかりでもおもしろくない。

でもファッションを楽しむことで、何かしらの変化があるし、世界が広がります。
よくわからないけれど、1つ言えるのはどれか1つ欠けたら何か物足りなくなる、
何かプラスしたら劇的に変わるかもしれない。そんな感じのこと。

私自身がそうでした。

そして、私の尊敬する人はこうも言っていました。

「情報や知識の取得が平等になっている今、内面の差には限界がある。

そうなったら次に差をつけられるのは外面。身につけるものは、
みんなが考えているよりはるかに影響が大きいものだ」と。

このブログをきっかけに、ファッションという一つのカテゴリーからいろいろなことを考えていけたらな…と思っています。

I'm very glad to start this blog with my special friends.

 So excited!

I began rhythmic gymnastics when I was six years old, and it made me grow.

In this sports, I think costume is very important to affect the total performance.

So I started to think Fashion is an important part of me.

Of course, what one focuses on differs from person to person.

And everyone has own taste and style.

But never forget enjoying fashion.

It surely brings wonderful things. 

The person I respect says 

"Now everyone can acquire knowledge and information equally.

So difference shows on outside than inside.

Things to put on the body has great influence."

I hope this blog become a chance to start something for you.

And I want to grow up and learn here.

こちらは日本、東京でファッションをきっかけに意気投合した3人によるBLOGです。
知的で上品なライフスタイル"Bon Chic, Bon Genre"を目指して、洋服や美容を入り口に生活そのものの豊かさを模索・追求していきます。
ブランドや一般論に囚われず、20代日本人の感性で正直に選択した商品や話題を載せていくつもりです。
私たちも勉強し、試し、考え、読んでくださる皆様と一緒に人間性やセンスを磨いていければ...と思います。
最終目標はズバリ、「日本におけるファッションの地位を高めること」です！
すごく大きな夢ですが、「ファッション社会学」が学問として認められつつある今だからこそファッション市場の占める割合とその地位の釣り合いをはかる好機ではないでしょうか？

This is a BLOG written by twenty-something girls founded a kindred spirit in Fashion, Mode in Tokyo, Japan.
The purpose is to pursue a BCBG lifestyle, a wealthy life mainly through the Fashion or Beauty.
Without sticking to bland biased eyes or common belief, we will pick out the products & topics according to our Japanese sensibility.
I hope we could develop our human qualities and  become sophisticated women by searching, trying, and thinking.
The final goal is, "to elevate the status of FASHION in the Japanese society"!
Although it sounds overwhelming, but it is also a good chance to consider the balance of big fashion industry and it's position, while "Sociology of Fashion" is being accepted as academic.

I will try to write in English and Japanese to express my vision to everyone. (I'm sorry for my poor English!)

今日はキー概念となる"BCBG"と私にとってのファッションについて書きます。

Today, I'll talk about BCBG that is related to a certain part of my life.

BCBGとはフランス語の略語でカタカナ読みをすると「ベーセーベージェー」。
”Bon Chic, Bon Genre”「 シックで上品な上流階級の着こなしや生活スタイル」を意味する言葉。フランス語を勉強する中で見つけた、私の座右の銘のようなものです！
小さい頃から、知的な振舞いやファッションを「文化」として大切にすることが上品さの第一歩だと教えられてきました。そんな環境にいたからなのか、おしゃれで実用的なデザインに重きを置いた生活が何よりも高揚感と満足感をもたらしてくれるのです。

BCBG is French expression "Bon Chic, Bon Genre". It means elegant, upper-class people's fashion & lifestyle. And this is my cherish motto!
Since I was a child, my parents told "elegance" comes from thinking a great deal of intellectual behavior & fashion as a "culture". In such circumstances, the life that I have been brought up through practical design and fashion has then given me extra importance in terms of satisfaction and exaltation.

「上品である」ということは、洋服やメイクや髪型よりも大切だと思います。今の日本は中所得者層でも十分豊かな暮らしのできる自由な国で、何を学んでどう表現するかで個人の民度が決まる場合が多いのではないでしょうか？
せっかく着飾る時には今一度自分の振る舞いや考え方なんかまでを見直して、芯から上品さを滲ませることができればもっと素敵に見えるでしょう。

I think, "Being elegant, cultivated" is more important than the outfit, make-up, hair style... Now in Japan, there are quite a number of middle-income earners and they are capable of sufficiently living everyday life, also I think it is better to define how people carry refinement through what they learn and how they express it.
When you preciously dress up, may be take another look at your behavior or way of thinking? If you could create an aura of graciousness, you must look sweet!
